In a symbolic act, Mario himself banged the gavel and declared that his full name is indeed “Mario Mario.” This revelation solidified the understanding that the hero plumber’s name is Mario Mario.

Who is Mario’s first girl?
Mario’s first girl is Pauline. Originally introduced as Lady, or the Queen of music songs, in the game Donkey Kong, Pauline was depicted as Mario’s girlfriend. The name Pauline was chosen as a tribute to the then-girlfriend of Don James, the warehouse manager at Nintendo of America.
